YOUR MISSIONS

I'm looking for a Paymaster for a recycling company in Laval.

Your duties will include :

Payroll preparation and follow-up with the payroll system (125 to 150 employees) ;
Produce year-end documents (T4/T4A/R1 + Déclaration des salaires + Sommaire 1);

Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure accuracy of employee data;

Follow-up of salary agreements and control of individual conditions;

Group insurance and group RRSP processing;
Administer complementary benefits plan;
Participate in the creation of accounting and archiving files for each fiscal year;
Participate in the department's various special projects;
Participate in monthly bank and VISA reconciliations;
Assist the Chief Accountant in the management of the Accounting Department;
Participate in the preparation of annual budgets for each company;

Participate in the preparation of interim financial reports and monthly follow-ups;
Participate in year-end payroll activities and ensure compliance with process and deadlines;

Participate in the integration, testing and implementation of payroll system enhancements, interfaces and tax updates;
All other related tasks.

YOUR PROFILE

Your profile:

Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar position;
Knowledge of the payroll accounting cycle;

Knowledge and experience of month-end and annual files;

Comfortable collaborating on the accounting of several companies;
Knowledge of SAGE 50 software, an asset;
Good knowledge of the Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook);
Ability to plan and organize work;
Organizational skills, analytical mind, thoroughness and attention to detail;
Ability to manage priorities and stress resistance.
