Aperçu du poste

Nous recherchons un(e) Spécialiste senior en fabrication métallique pour rejoindre notre équipe de fabrication. Il s’agit d’un poste senior, très opérationnel, destiné à un(e) professionnel(le) expérimenté(e) possédant une expertise approfondie en fabrication d’aluminium, incluant l’aluminium extrudé et la tôle.

Ce poste n’est pas un poste d’entrée de carrière. Le ou la candidat(e) idéal(e) possède une compréhension complète de la fabrication métallique — de la matière première au produit fini — et adopte une approche rigoureuse, structurée et axée sur la qualité à chaque étape du processus de fabrication.

Responsabilités principales

Fabriquer et transformer des composants en aluminium extrudé et en tôle
Préparer, régler et opérer les équipements de fabrication métallique, notamment :
Presses plieuses (pliage et formage)
Cisailles
Découpeuses laser
Autres équipements d’atelier au besoin
Lire et interpréter des dessins techniques, des plans et des spécifications
Assurer le respect de tolérances serrées, des finis propres et une qualité constante des produits
Gérer efficacement les flux de fabrication tout en maintenant un haut niveau de précision
Identifier des opportunités d’amélioration des procédés et d’optimisation manufacturière
Maintenir un environnement de travail propre, organisé et sécuritaire
Collaborer étroitement avec les équipes d’ingénierie et de production afin d’assurer la fabricabilité et le respect des standards de qualité

Expérience et compétences requises

5 à 10 ans ou plus d’expérience pratique en fabrication métallique
Expertise solide en :
Fabrication de l’aluminium (extrudé et en tôle)
Procédés de pliage, formage, découpe et mise en forme
Expérience démontrée dans le réglage et l’opération de presses plieuses, cisailles et découpeuses laser
Souci exceptionnel du détail et haut niveau de savoir-faire
Excellente compréhension des procédés de fabrication, des tolérances et du comportement des matériaux
Méthode de travail hautement organisée, structurée et axée sur les processus
Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et à assumer la responsabilité de la qualité de production
Excellentes aptitudes en résolution de problèmes et mentalité d’amélioration continue

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on, senior-level role for an experienced professional with deep expertise in aluminum fabrication, including extruded aluminum and sheet metal.

This position is not entry-level. The ideal candidate has a comprehensive understanding of metal fabrication—from raw material to finished product—and brings a precise, organized, and quality-driven approach to every stage of the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

Fabricate and process aluminum extrusions and sheet metal components
Set up and operate metal fabrication equipment, including:
Press brakes (bending and forming)
Shear machines
Laser cutters
Additional shop equipment as required
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Ensure tight tolerances, clean finishes, and consistent product quality
Manage fabrication workflows efficiently while maintaining accuracy
Identify opportunities for process improvements and manufacturing optimization
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturability and quality standards

Required Experience & Skills

5–10+ years of hands-on experience in metal fabrication
Strong expertise in:
Aluminum fabrication (extruded and sheet)
Bending, folding, forming, and cutting processes
Proven experience setting up and operating press brakes, shear machines, and laser cutters
Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and material behavior
Highly organized, methodical, and process-driven working style
Ability to work independently and take ownership of production quality
Strong problem-solving skills and continuous-improvement mindset
