Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Bricklayers Labourer to support our construction team in various masonry and renovation projects. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the construction industry, working alongside skilled professionals on diverse projects. The ideal candidate will be reliable, eager to learn, and capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist bricklayers and masons with material handling, mixing mortar, and preparing work sites
Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, and chisels to support masonry work
Operate power tools and heavy equipment as needed under supervision
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to assist with project execution
Support demolition, restoration, and renovation tasks as required
Perform general site cleanup and ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
Assist with caulking, sealing, and other finishing tasks to support masonry projects
Help set up scaffolding or other temporary structures for construction activities

Qualifications

Prior construction experience or familiarity with masonry work is preferred but not required
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy equipment safely
Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics is a plus
Experience with renovation or restoration projects is advantageous
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods
Willingness to learn new skills related to masonry, caulking, and equipment operation
Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively within a team environment
Commitment to safety standards and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Pay: $19.00-$24.00 per hour

Work Location: On the road
