Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Junior Plumbing Estimator and play a vital role in shaping successful construction projects! In this energetic and fast-paced position, you will assist in preparing accurate cost estimates for plumbing systems on a variety of commercial and industrial construction projects. Your enthusiasm for construction, combined with a detail-oriented mindset, will help ensure project bids are competitive and profitable. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in construction estimating while working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to excellence.

Responsibilities

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates for construction projects.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate project pricing and timelines.
Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best prices for materials and services.
Maintain organized records of estimates, contracts, and correspondence related to projects.
Monitor project progress and adjust estimates as necessary based on changes in scope or unforeseen circumstances.
Assist in the preparation of bid documents and presentations for potential clients.

Skills

Proficiency in Trimble is highly desirable.
Strong negotiation skills to effectively manage vendor relationships and secure favorable terms.
Excellent project management abilities to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessments.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members, clients, and subcontractors.
A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
