Objectif du poste Le Gestionnaire de Produits joue un rôle clé dans la stratégie, le développement et la gestion du portefeuille de produits Yupik & Elan pour les marchés canadien et américain. Ce poste est essentiel pour identifier les besoins des clients, analyser le marché, suivre les tendances et collaborer avec les équipes internes afin de lancer des produits innovants et performants. Le Gestionnaire de Produits travaille en étroite collaboration avec les départements des ventes, achats, assurance qualité, production, marketing et R&D pour assurer le succès des lancements et la croissance du portefeuille.

Responsabilités

Gérer le cycle de vie complet des produits pour les marques Élan, Yupik et les produits en vrac.
Optimiser le nombre de références (SKU) selon les besoins des différents marchés (Canada & USA).
Réaliser des études de marché pour identifier de nouvelles opportunités de produits, analyser la concurrence et anticiper les tendances.
Collaborer avec l’équipe des achats pour garantir que l’offre répond aux besoins clients et exigences du marché.
Piloter le processus Stage-Gate pour l’évaluation, la sélection et le lancement de nouveaux produits.
Effectuer la gestion du portefeuille pour les nouveaux produits, de la conception à la commercialisation.

Lancement et commercialisation des produits

Collaborer avec les équipes ventes, marketing, R&D et opérations pour élaborer et exécuter les plans de lancement des nouveaux produits
Développer, en partenariat avec l’équipe marketing, les plans de mise en marché pour chaque lancement.
Former les équipes ventes et marketing sur les nouveaux produits et leurs avantages compétitifs.

Analyse et optimisation

Identifier les opportunités de marché et suivre les tendances de consommation afin d’ajuster la stratégie produit.
Réaliser l’analyse annuelle des prix et revoir les stratégies tarifaires pour assurer la compétitivité et la rentabilité.
Soutenir la gestion des prix en ligne (Yupik.com, Elan, tiers) et participer à l’analyse de faisabilité et de coûts pour les projets de marques privées.
Effectuer toute autre tâche connexe visant à soutenir la croissance et l’innovation produits.

Qualifications requises

Diplôme universitaire en marketing, communication ou domaine connexe.
Minimum de 5 ans d’expérience pertinente en gestion de produits ou de marques.
Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
Excellente maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office et des systèmes technologiques.
Expérience avérée en gestion de projets, organisation et planification.
Compétences analytiques solides et capacité à prendre des décisions basées sur les données.

Purpose of the position

The Product Manager plays a key role in the strategy, development, and management of the Yupik & Elan product portfolios for the Canadian and U.S. markets. This position is essential for identifying customer needs, analyzing the market, tracking trends, and collaborating with internal teams to launch innovative and successful products. The Product Manager works closely with sales, purchasing, quality assurance, production, marketing, and R&D departments to ensure the success of launches and the growth of the product portfolio.

Responsibilities

Product Portfolio Development and Management

Manage the full product lifecycle for the Elan, Yupik, and bulk product lines.
Optimize the number of SKUs according to the needs of different markets (Canada & USA). Conduct market research to identify new product opportunities, analyze competitors, and anticipate trends.
Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure the offer meets customer needs and market requirements.
Lead the Stage-Gate process for the evaluation, selection, and launch of new products. • Oversee portfolio management for new products, from conception to commercialization. Product Launch and Commercialization
Collaborate with sales, marketing, R&D, and operations teams to develop and execute launch plans for new products.
Partner with the marketing team to develop go-to-market plans for each launch.
Provide ongoing training to sales and marketing teams on new products and their competitive advantages.

Analysis and Optimization

Identify market opportunities and monitor consumption trends to adjust product strategy. Conduct annual pricing analysis and review pricing strategies to ensure competitiveness and profitability.
Support online pricing management (Yupik.com, Elan, third parties) and participate in feasibility and cost analysis for private label projects.
Perform any other related tasks to support product growth and innovation.

Required Qualifications Skills

University degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in product or brand management.
Proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken.
Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite and technology systems.
Proven experience in project management, organization, and planning.
Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
