Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dining Room Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services in a friendly dining environment. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will ensure that guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering food and beverages promptly and accurately while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly manner, ensuring they feel welcomed.
Take orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system.
Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring timely delivery and presentation.
Assist with cash handling, processing payments, and managing tabs as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest needs or concerns.
Adhere to food safety standards and regulations to ensure guest health and satisfaction.

Skills

Strong guest services skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of food safety practices within the food service industry.
Experience with POS systems is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues.
A background in the food industry or kitchen operations is a plus.
