TAKE. EAT. EASY. Hiring for Betty’s at the Kitch and Eli + Trix restaurant. These foodie favourites are a top destination for locals and tourists alike!

WE ARE HIRING: A rad human with a solid culinary background, a love of food and a flair for putting great ingredients together to create dishes that wow!

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: The Chef is responsible for leading, motivating and developing the culinary team by executing the highest standard of culinary excellence. They oversee all food preparation for the restaurant. The Chef is also accountable for ensuring maximum productivity and cost-effectiveness through food and labour costing initiatives and inventory management. You’ll bring professional, enthusiastic ownership to the menu each day; while assisting the FOH team to create a rave worthy guest experience!

QUALIFICATIONS: Chef or Sous Chef experience with post-secondary education in Culinary Arts Management or similar experience. Food Handler Safety Certification.

SKILLS: Strong business acumen. Efficiency using Microsoft Word and Excel, Google and POS systems. Self-starter, flexible and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Strong leadership skills. Time management skills. Human resources management skills such as: recruitment, selection, training, performance management.
