Press Brake Operator - Neustar Manufacturing Inc. – Winnipeg, MB Canada

Our products include Neustar’s in house manufactured, and branded “HARDOX in MY BODY” certified steel dump bodies & end dump trailers for the construction industry, and Neustar Grain Dump Bodies for the agricultural industry. Our unique mix of capabilities allow us to effectively, Manufacture, Service, Supply and Support a diverse range of truck and trailer mounted equipment. As such we have successfully partnered and distributed our products through all 7 of 7 retail Heavy Truck brands in Canada & USA. Position Summary:

Under general supervision, operates CNC press brake, shear, plasma table machines to produce quality parts. Requires a working knowledge of various processes and operations to meet production requirements. Full time work shift 8am to 4:30 PM.

Overall Responsibilities:

Operates Brand New full CNC 660T & 220T brake machine, Hydraulic Shear, CNC Messer Plasma Table, Band Saw, drill presses; with Some 2 person operations.
Coordinates each job with set-up person to ensure full understanding
Ability to do simple set-ups on proven jobs according to standards
Safely loads any tools and dyes necessary for each individual job
Ensure that route sheets are complete and concise
Ensure manufacturing drawings have the correct revision level, notes, tolerances, and dimensions
Complete move tickets, cost over run, and job routing system supplements.
Inspect all finished parts thoroughly
Load and unload machines using forklifts & overhead cranes.
Operates and follows safe work procedures

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Ability to receive verbal or written instructions that pertain to daily tasks
Ability to listen and take direction
Ability to learn quickly
Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination
Can safely lift 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours
Able to work overtime as needed

Education & Training/Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent
Must have previous press brake experience 3+ years

Employees only are allowed in the manufacturing areas. Departments are separated into bubbles to minimize contacts. Cleaning & Mask Protocols in Place.
