Bulldog Bag Ltd., an established Canadian manufacturer of flexible packaging products, is seeking a motivated and commercially driven Sales Executive – Flexible Packaging to join our Sales team in Langley, British Columbia.

This is a full-cycle B2B sales position focused on winning and developing new business for our poly and flexible packaging products.

We are looking for a salesperson who can identify opportunities, open doors, build relationships with key decision-makers, understand customer packaging requirements, develop solutions, negotiate effectively, close business, and grow accounts over the long term.

Reporting to the Sales Director, the successful candidate will take ownership of new-business development and play an important role in growing our flexible packaging business.

What You'll Do

Identify, pursue, and win new customers for our poly and flexible packaging products.
Develop new business opportunities across relevant industries and market segments.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified B2B sales opportunities.
Prospect independently through telephone, email, networking, referrals, industry contacts, customer visits, and other business development activities.
Establish relationships with key decision-makers in purchasing, procurement, operations, packaging, and management.
Meet with prospective customers to understand their products, packaging applications, specifications, volumes, and commercial requirements.
Work closely with our internal teams to develop flexible packaging solutions that meet customer requirements and align with our manufacturing capabilities.
Prepare and present quotations, proposals, product information, samples, and other sales materials.
Maintain consistent and disciplined follow-up on quotations and active sales opportunities.
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms within established Company guidelines.
Convert qualified opportunities into profitable, sustainable business.
Develop newly acquired customers into strong, long-term accounts.
Identify opportunities to expand business within established accounts.
Maintain accurate customer, prospect, and opportunity information within the Company's CRM system.
Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities within the flexible packaging industry.
Work toward established sales, revenue, profitability, and new-business development objectives.

What We're Looking For

Demonstrated B2B sales or business development experience with a proven ability to generate and close new business.
Experience in flexible packaging, flexographic printing, poly/plastic packaging, film, printing, converting, or a related packaging/manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.
Knowledge of flexible packaging products, applications, specifications, printing, converting, or manufacturing processes is a strong asset.
Proven ability to prospect independently and develop business from initial contact through closing.
Strong commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong presentation, customer engagement, and relationship-building abilities.
Self-motivated, persistent, organized, and results-oriented.
Ability to manage multiple sales opportunities while maintaining disciplined follow-up.
Comfortable working collaboratively with manufacturing, production, technical, quality, and customer service teams.
Experience with CRM systems and modern sales/prospecting tools is an asset.
Valid driver's licence and ability to travel to customer locations as required.
