Full job description

Are you a positive, outgoing, and enthusiastic individual? Our growing chiropractic clinic in Markham is seeking a Front Desk / Office Administrator / Chiropractic Assistant with flexible hours to join our team.

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule: Monday to Thursday, Saturdays

Salary: To be discussed

Qualifications:

Punctual with a strong attendance history
Self-starter and collaborative team player with confidence in providing high-level client service and administrative support.
Proficient with computers and standard office technology (Google Docs, Excel).
Excellent communication skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Must be willing to work morning or afternoon shifts; weekends as needed.
Strong phone etiquette and call-handling skills.
Able to engage with patients professionally while managing responsibilities efficiently.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor.

Experience:

Administrative assistant: 1 year (preferred)
Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)

Administrative / Chiropractic Assistant Duties:

Act as the first point of contact for the office, ensuring a professional and friendly experience for clients and patients
Schedule appointments and manage calendars
Perform treatments such as SoftWave and handheld laser therapy (training provided, if applicable)
Assist patients with decompression tables and ensure proper setup
Answer electronic inquiries and respond promptly to messages
Answer and route incoming phone calls
Greet and assist visitors upon arrival
Maintain a neat, organized, and professional front desk area
Keep patient files and office records, notes updated, organized and up to date
Maintain office supply inventory and place orders as needed
Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
Process patient payments accurately
Assist with billing and related financial tasks
Willing and prepared to work overtime as business needs require
