About the Role
We are looking for a creative, organized, and detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our Marketing, E-Commerce, and CRM creative teams across both Suzy Shier and Le Château.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong interest in fashion, digital marketing, email design, and retail creative production. The Design Assistant will support the design and execution of marketing assets across email, web, social, mall media, video, and digital advertising channels. This person will also work closely with the Customer Relationship Manager to help program eblasts and maintain automated flows in Klaviyo.

The Design Assistant will shadow and assist the Senior Design Manager with new creative concepts, campaign development, and ongoing design support.

Key Responsibilities

Program weekly eblasts in Klaviyo for both Suzy Shier and Le Château.
Work closely with the Customer Relationship Manager to support email marketing execution, segmentation, scheduling, and campaign setup.
Design new eblast flows and manage current automated flows within Klaviyo.
Assist with the design and production of email creative, including campaign layouts, promotional messaging, image selection, and final asset preparation.
Design artwork for weekly mall engagement agent ads and support future mall video creative.
Assist the Senior Design Manager with new creative concepts, campaign direction, layout exploration, and brand support.
Support the creation of digital and print marketing assets, including eblasts, website banners, homepage graphics, social media assets, paid ads, mall media, in-store signage, and promotional materials.
Prepare, resize, export, and organize final creative files for multiple channels.
Help maintain brand consistency across Suzy Shier and Le Château creative.
Review creative assets for accuracy, including pricing, promotional messaging, spelling, image quality, sizing, and layout consistency.
Assist with product image preparation, cropping, formatting, retouching notes, and file organization.
Gather inspiration, competitor references, design trends, and creative examples to support upcoming campaigns.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced retail marketing environment.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Fashion Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.
Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
Experience with Figma is required.
Experience with Klaviyo or an equivalent email marketing platform is strongly preferred.
Understanding of Google Sheets, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.
Strong eye for layout, typography, colour, image selection, and visual hierarchy.
Interest in fashion, retail, e-commerce, CRM, and digital marketing.
Ability to work across multiple brands while maintaining each brand’s unique look and feel.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple tasks and working within tight deadlines.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with design, CRM, e-commerce, copy, and marketing teams.
Basic knowledge of email marketing best practices, digital advertising, social media, and video content is an asset.
Motion graphics, video editing, retouching, or animation experience is a plus.
