Full job description

We're looking for a Procurement Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible ensuring best possible price for various vendors. He or she will also be responsible for issuing and following up with all PO’s issued to various vendors for hardware and manufactured good. The ideal candidate is self- motivated, organized and possesses strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills. He or she must be energetic, enthusiastic, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Print industry experience is an asset.

Job Description:

Primary Responsibilities:

Work closely with Manager to ensure post installations issues are proactively identified and addressed.
Manage all install groups and continue to add and vet out new ones so we can eliminate install brokers (Upright) so we can provide better pricing and service to our customers.
Assess appropriate charges to extra billing items and obtain mandatory client approval prior to proceeding.
Coordinate procurement activities with third-party vendors and suppliers.
Ensure all extra billings and po’s have been included once projects are ready for billing.
Issue and follow up on day-to-day POs for hardware and other manufactured goods.
Interact with internal and external customers to clarify product specifications (i.e. quantities, installation dates and/or delivery requirements, etc.).
Follow-up on drop ship orders to ensure to meet deadlines.
Interact with vendors, customers, merchandising, sales and other company employees as necessary to meet requirements of position. Follow-up to verify customer has received product.
Monitor and ensure the pricing mark-up is consistent with revenue band guidelines.

Desired Skills and Experience and Education:

Completion of post-secondary school (university or college) is required.

Prerequisite Skills/Experience:

Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written).
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organization and time management skills.
Positive and professional attitude.
Advanced knowledge of administrative recordkeeping.
Team player.
Proficiency with information systems i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams.
Energetic and ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
