Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, particularly within a dental setting. This position requires strong administrative skills, excellent communication abilities, and familiarity with medical terminology and electronic medical records systems.

Duties

Manage front desk operations, including greeting patients and handling inquiries.
Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for dental or medical services.
Process patient information and maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems such as Dentrix or Epic.
Assist with billing and insurance verification processes.
Ensure the office environment is welcoming and professional for patients and visitors.
Collaborate with dental or medical staff to streamline office procedures and enhance patient care.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.

Requirements

Previous experience in a front desk or receptionist role, preferably within a dental or medical office setting.
Familiarity with medical terminology is highly desirable.
Proficiency in using electronic medical records systems; experience with Dentrix or Epic is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team to achieve office goals.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and attention to detail in all tasks performed.
