Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hairstylist Apprentice to join our dynamic salon team. This entry-level position offers a valuable opportunity to learn and develop professional hair styling skills under the guidance of experienced stylists. The ideal candidate will have a passion for beauty and customer service, along with a desire to grow within the industry. As a Hairstylist Apprentice, you will assist with client services, gain hands-on experience in hair styling techniques, and contribute to creating a welcoming salon environment.

Responsibilities

Assist senior stylists with hair cutting, coloring, and styling services.
Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients and addressing their needs
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards in all work areas and tools
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice

Experience

Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential
Basic knowledge of hair styling, sanitation practices, and salon operations is advantageous
A genuine interest in learning hairdressing techniques and building a career as a professional stylist
Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude throughout the workday
