Full job description

Our Opportunity

Dysun International is seeking a full-time Key Account Manager to drive growth throughout the Eastern Canadian market.

Territory

Ontario
Quebec
Atlantic Canada

Location

This position is based in our Oakville, Ontario office and requires up to 50% travel throughout the territory to visit prospective and existing customers, attend industry events, and support business development activities.

What You'll Do

Develop, maintain, and grow relationships with greenhouse growers and nurseries across Eastern Canada.
Develop and execute sales strategies to build and manage a healthy sales pipeline.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Coordinate customer projects with Dysun's sourcing and product development teams.
Conduct customer visits and recommend product solutions that meet customer needs.
Attend North American trade shows and industry events.
Understand customers' business needs and recommend solutions from our product portfolio.
Deliver exceptional customer service by supporting product development initiatives, collaborating with internal teams, and responding promptly to customer requests.
Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence.

· The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable, profitable sales growth within the horticultural market by developing new business, strengthening customer relationships, creating customer value, and maintaining strong market awareness.

· This position reports to the Executive Team.

Qualifications

2–3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within manufacturing, horticulture, agriculture, or related industries.
A proactive business development mindset with a passion for generating new customer relationships.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, fast-paced team environment.
Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout the assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent customer service and relationship-building abilities, with experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
Coachable, disciplined, organized, and self-motivated.
Valid driver's license.
Eagerness to learn and continuously develop.
Enjoys working in a team-oriented environment.

· Additional duties may be assigned as required.

Compensation

· This position offers a competitive base salary plus an uncapped commission plan and performance bonuses, ensuring your success and contributions are rewarded.
