Full job description

Summary :

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for strictly adhering to the organization's quality assurance policies and identifying defects and/or production errors in order to prevent these materials from entering the supply chain.

Job Duties:

Monitor food production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Perform routine inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
Conduct quality tests and document results accurately.
Ensure compliance with food safety standards such as HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000, and local regulatory requirements.
Investigate customer complaints and quality issues, identifying root causes and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation.
Conduct internal audits and support external regulatory or customer audits.
Verify sanitation and hygiene practices throughout the facility.
Train production staff on food safety, hygiene, and quality procedures.
Work closely with production, maintenance, procurement, and R&D teams to improve product quality.
Monitor calibration of laboratory and production equipment.
Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and traceability of products.

Requirements :

Post Secondary Education in an appropriate field.
Minimum 2 years of direct work experience with QA systems, regulations, guidelines, and associated standard is preferred.
Practical experience with product testing is preferred.
Highly motivated and self-directed capable of multi-tasking, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Extremely detail-oriented and analytical thinker.
Able to interface directly with cross-functional teams.
Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills.
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office productivity suite.
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
Basic computer skills
Must own a vehicle

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 per hour
