Position: Robotics and Coding Teacher (Grades 2 – 6)
Location: Orchard Elementary STEAM School, Milton, Canada
Type: Part Time

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Robotics and Coding Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire young minds, foster a love of learning, and help students achieve their full potential and prepare kids for competitions.

Responsibilities

Inspire young minds and foster a love for STEM learning
Teach robotics, coding, and problem-solving skills through hands-on activities
Guide students in building, programming, and testing robotic projects
Encourage creativity, critical thinking, and teamwork
Create an engaging and supportive classroom environment
Prepare students for robotics and coding competitions
Support students in achieving their academic and personal potential
Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
Promote confidence, innovation, and independent learning skills

Requirements

Knowledge of robotics, coding, or STEM-related subjects
Experience working with children or students
Strong communication and classroom management skills
Passion for teaching and mentoring young learners
Ability to create engaging hands-on learning activities
Teamwork and problem-solving skills
Prior competition or project experience is an asset
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for education

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (STEM background preferred)
Previous experience teaching at the elementary level is preferred.
A clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening.
