Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and excellent customer service skills. As a Body Shop Estimator, you will be responsible for assessing vehicle damage, preparing detailed estimates, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the repair process. Your mechanical knowledge will play a crucial role in the success of our body shop.

Duties

Evaluate damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed
Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for repair costs, including parts and labor
Communicate effectively with customers to explain the estimation process and answer any questions
Collaborate with technicians to ensure all necessary repairs are accounted for
Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales and estimates
Provide exceptional customer service throughout the repair process, ensuring a positive experience for all clients
Maintain knowledge of industry trends, dealership practices, and automotive repair techniques

Qualifications

Proven experience in automotive environment and estimator position
Strong understanding of automotive repair processes and mechanical knowledge
Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
