Position: Junior Financial Advisor
Location: Flexible, ideally live within 1 hour of Mississauga
Job Type: In-person or hybrid; Depending on training requirements you may be required to be in the office during your probationary period. We are happy to negotiate this further with candidates.
Salary: $40,000+; Exact base pay offering is dependent on a candidate’s quality of experience and educational background. Base pay will also be tiered to reflect the number of clients under active management of the Junior Financial Advisor which will be assigned to them after a probationary period.
Overview
We are seeking a growth-oriented Junior Financial Advisor to join our established practice. The successful candidate will work directly alongside other team advisors to manage existing books of businesses while actively identifying opportunities for growth. We are looking for an individual who possesses technical proficiency, ability to manage complex financial strategies and ability to build long lasting client trust and relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: 2 or more years of experience in a financial advisory or wealth management environment.
- Licensing: Active designations are mandatory [e.g., CSC, IFIC] . Advisor candidates must be in good standing with regulatory bodies and must be ready to be registered.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and contribute to the growth of a financial practice.
- Analytical Precision: Familiarity with financial softwares is a bonus.
- Commitment to Excellence: A self-starter mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-stakes environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Account & Relationship Management: Serve as the secondary advisor for a dedicated segment of the firm’s client base, conducting regular reviews and managing ongoing inquiries.
- Financial Strategy Development: Utilize financial software to build comprehensive wealth and estate strategies.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the existing database and through professional networking.
- Operational Oversight: Collaborate with the team to ensure the seamless execution of trades, transfers, and compliance requirements.
