Landscape Construction Foreman — Tall Oaks Landscape group - Luxury Pools and landscapes, Oakville, ON

We’re looking for a Landscape Construction Foreman who can confidently run job sites, lead crews, and execute projects to a high standard. If you’re someone who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow into a leadership role within a strong company, this is your next move.

Role overview:

As a Construction Foreman, you serve as the on-site lead, overseeing safety, workmanship, productivity, and team performance. You will organize daily operations, supervise a crew of 2 to 5 alongside sub-trades, coordinate with Operations and Project Management, and ensure each project is completed to a high-end standard that exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities:

Leading a crew of 2–5 team members plus sub trades
Reading and executing plans, layouts, and construction drawings
Coordinating daily work with project managers and operations
Ensuring timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols are met
Maintaining a clean, professional, and efficient job site
Acting as the on-site point of contact when needed
Installing and constructing hardscape elements including interlock, natural stone, retaining walls, and steps
Executing softscape installs such as planting, grading, and sod installation
Completing additional site features including landscape lighting, irrigation systems, concrete work, and wood structures
Safely operating construction equipment including mini excavators, skid steers, compactors, and various power tools

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in landscape construction (design-build preferred)
Strong ability to read drawings and execute layouts accurately
Experience in leading crews and coordinating with trades
Solid knowledge of both hardscape and softscape installation
Confidence operating landscape construction equipment
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Commitment to safety and best practices on-site
Valid G driver’s license and reliable transportation
AZ/DZ license (preferred)
Experience on high-end luxury projects (preferred)
