Nous sommes à la recherche d’un ou d’une commis comptable du Québec, minutieux(se) et bilingue français-anglais, pour se joindre à notre équipe des finances. La personne idéale sera responsable de la tenue de registres financiers exacts, du traitement des transactions et du respect des normes comptables. Ce poste offre l’occasion de travailler dans un environnement dynamique où votre expertise en tenue de livres et en logiciels comptables sera grandement valorisée. La maîtrise du français et de l’anglais est essentielle afin de communiquer efficacement avec notre clientèle diversifiée et les membres de notre équipe.

Responsabilités

Tenir à jour les registres financiers à l’aide de logiciels comptables tels que QuickBooks, Sage ou Xero.

Gérer avec précision les processus liés aux comptes fournisseurs et aux comptes clients.

Effectuer les rapprochements de comptes, y compris les rapprochements bancaires, afin d’assurer l’exactitude des données financières.

Procéder à l’analyse des comptes afin de repérer les écarts ou irrégularités et résoudre rapidement les problèmes.

Participer aux processus budgétaires et aux activités de production de rapports financiers.

Traiter la paie avec exactitude et efficacité, en assurant la conformité aux règlements applicables.

Préparer les états financiers et les rapports destinés à l’examen de la direction.

Appuyer les procédures de clôture de fin de mois et de fin d’année.

Veiller au respect des politiques de l’entreprise et des normes comptables dans toutes les activités de tenue de livres.

Collaborer avec les auditeurs lors des vérifications financières, au besoin.

Qualifications

Expérience démontrée dans des fonctions de tenue de livres ou de comptabilité, de préférence dans un environnement bilingue.

Maîtrise de logiciels comptables tels que QuickBooks, Sage, Xero ou des plateformes similaires.

Bonne compréhension des principes comptables, du traitement de la paie, des comptes fournisseurs et clients, ainsi que des processus de rapprochement bancaire.

Excellente attention aux détails et solides compétences organisationnelles.

Capacité à analyser les données financières avec exactitude et efficacité.

Bilinguisme français-anglais requis pour communiquer efficacement avec l’équipe et les clients.

Connaissance des règlements fiscaux et des normes de conformité propres au Québec, un atout.

Expérience préalable en budgétisation et en analyse de comptes souhaitable.

Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual (French and English) Quebec Bookkeeper to join our finance team. Responsibilities

Perform account reconciliations, including bank reconciliations, to ensure accuracy of financial data
Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly
Assist in budgeting processes and financial reporting activities
Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
Prepare financial statements and reports for management review
Support month-end and year-end closing procedures
Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards in all bookkeeping activities
Collaborate with auditors during financial audits as needed

Qualifications

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, preferably within a bilingual environment
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, or similar platforms
Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation processes
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to analyze financial data accurately and efficiently
Bilingual fluency in French and English is required for effective communication within the team and with clients
Knowledge of Quebec-specific tax regulations and compliance standards is a plus
Prior experience with budgeting and account analysis is desirable
