Vos tâches :

Installation d'équipements, c.-à-d. racks, armoires et câblage d'équipements, alimentation CC, interconnexions cuivre et fibre optique
Travail en équipe et de manière autonome, sur des abris de toit et au sol, des bureaux centraux, des colocations et des sites de point de présence
Des déplacements pourraient être nécessaires dans le Grand Sud de l'Ontario.

Compétences requises :

Bonne compréhension des infrastructures réseau
Maîtrise et adaptation à divers équipements de test télécom
Excellentes compétences en dépannage
Bonne compréhension des principes RF
Connaissance et compréhension des réseaux LTE/5G
Connaissance des équipements de transmission micro-ondes, de la fibre optique et du protocole TCP/IP
Compréhension des centrales électriques CC, des redresseurs et des chaînes de batteries
Adaptation aux livrables individuels et aux responsabilités d'équipe
Disponibilité à travailler de jour, de soir, de nuit et le fins de semaine
Permis de conduire valide

Rôles et responsabilités :

Réception et traitement des billets d’incident, diagnostic des pannes et remplacement de l’équipement défectueux.
Collaboration quotidienne avec le NOC, l’équipe des opérations sur le terrain et les équipes d’ingénierie pour résoudre les interruptions réseau tout en assurant la continuité du trafic. Réalisation de la maintenance préventive, incluant la vérification des alarmes de communication, mécaniques et environnementales sur un site cellulaire.
Expérience de travail en hauteur et sur des échelles.
Capacité à soulever 34 kg à hauteur de poitrine.
Permis de conduire valide et capacité à conduire un véhicule utilitaire léger, incluant à l’occasion le remorquage d’un générateur ou d’une unité mobile de type COW (cell on wheels).
Accès à distance et mises à jour en temps réel des données dans les systèmes de répartition du travail et de service à la clientèle de CNI, ainsi que dans les systèmes et bases de données fournis par les clients de CNI.

**We Are Hiring! Telecommunications Technician**

Canadian Network Installations (CNI) is a proud national partner supporting telecommunications operators across Canada for more than 25 years. We provide infrastructure support, solutions, and network construction for both wireline and wireless networks across the country.

We are currently seeking a telecommunications technician with experience installing and maintaining both wire line and wireless telecommunications equipment in the greater Montreal region.

Your responsibilities:

Installation of equipment, i.e., racks, cabinets, equipment wiring, DC power, copper and fiber‑optic interconnections
Working both as part of a team and independently, on rooftop shelters and ground sites, central offices, colocation facilities, and point‑of‑presence sites
Travel may be required within Southern Ontario

Required skills:

Good understanding of network infrastructure
Proficiency with and adaptability to various telecom testing equipment
Strong troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of RF principles
Knowledge and understanding of LTE/5G networks
Knowledge of microwave transmission equipment, fiber optics, and the TCP/IP protocol
Understanding of DC power plants, rectifiers, and battery strings
Ability to meet individual deliverables and team responsibilities
Availability to work days, evenings, nights, and weekends
Valid driver’s license

Roles and Responsibilities:

Receiving and processing incident tickets, diagnosing faults, and replacing defective equipment.
Daily collaboration with the NOC, field operations team, and engineering teams to resolve network outages while ensuring traffic continuity. Performing preventative maintenance, including checking communication, mechanical, and environmental alarms at a cell site.
Experience working at heights and on ladders.
Ability to lift 34 kg to chest height.
Valid driver's license and ability to drive a light commercial vehicle that may involve from time to time towing of a generator of cell on wheels. COW
Remote access to and real-time updates of data with CNI's work dispatch and customer service systems, as well as with CNI's customer-provided systems and databases.
