We are a well-established, family-owned real estate ownership and development firm with a long-standing presence in the Montreal market. Operating with a lean, collaborative team, the company oversees a diversified portfolio of commercial and residential assets and has built a reputation around long-term relationships, operational stability, and thoughtful growth.
Unlike highly corporate environments, this is a close-knit organization where employees tend to stay for many years and play an active role in the day-to-day success of the business. The culture is hands-on, entrepreneurial, and built on trust, accountability, and flexibility. Leadership values individuals who are dependable, grounded, and looking for a long-term home where they can genuinely make an impact.
We are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to oversee the financial operations of a growing real estate portfolio and act as the key financial leader within the organization. This is a high-visibility role that combines strategic financial oversight with hands-on operational involvement.
The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable wearing multiple hats in a smaller company environment — capable of managing high-level financial reporting and controls while also remaining connected to the day-to-day financial operations of the business. This role will work closely with ownership, external accounting partners, and internal administrative staff to ensure the organization continues operating efficiently and effectively.
The company is highly flexible on schedule and structure, offering a very accommodating hybrid setup and openness to remote arrangements for the right individual. While a CPA designation is welcomed, it is not required. What matters most is strong real estate financial experience, stability in prior roles, and the ability to thrive in a long-term leadership position within a family-run organization.

- Work collaboratively with ownership in a highly visible and trusted leadership capacity
