Vipond | Fire-Tech is one of the largest third-party suppliers of Fire Alarm, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Suppression, and other life safety systems in Newfoundland and Labrador

Key Responsibilities

Accounts Receivable (AR):

Prepare and issue customer invoices
Apply payments and reconcile accounts
Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies

Collections:

Contact customers regarding overdue accounts (phone and email)
Maintain accurate documentation of collection efforts
Work with customers to arrange payment plans when necessary
Escalate accounts as appropriate

Accounts Payable (AP):

Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Administrative Support:

Maintain organized financial records and filing systems
Assist with month-end procedures
Support general office administration as needed

Qualifications

Experience with AR, AP, and collections required High school diploma
Post-secondary education Business Administration, Office administration or related field would be ideal
Excellent computer skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
