We are currently seeking an HVAC Technician to add to our team!

Key responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC systems.
Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical diagrams, and manufacturer instructions.
Operate small and large equipment required to complete tasks.
Test systems for proper functioning using specialized tools and equipment.
Ensure compliance with local HVAC codes and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues and recommend solutions.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and time spent.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

3-5 years of experience in a similar role
Possess a valid Certification of Qualification
Possess any of the following licenses: G2 or G1 Gas License, 308A Sheet Metal License or 313D or 313A Refrigeration Mechanic License
Ability to work on call on a rotational basis
Ability to read, assess and execute blueprints and drawings
Ability to travel locally to job sites
Ability to perform physical tasks on construction sites, including working on ladders, scaffolding, and elevated platforms
Possesses a valid and up to date driver’s license and a clean drivers abstract
Ability to troubleshoot, make on-site decisions and adapt to a changing work environment
Skilled in identifying issues and delivering prompt, effective solutions while maintaining exceptional customer service
