Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Education (ECE) Teacher to foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with children of diverse needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact on children's development while working in a collaborative and supportive setting.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and learning.
Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized attention.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a cohesive educational experience.
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and behavior.
Utilize computer skills for documentation, lesson planning, and communication purposes.
Manage classroom materials and resources efficiently to support daily activities.
Lead classroom activities that foster leadership, cooperation, and creativity among children.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and licensing requirements.

Requirements

Prior experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is preferred.
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
Bilingual abilities (English and French) are highly desirable to support diverse student populations.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or in special education is a plus.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage children effectively.
Excellent organizational skills and time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
Proficiency in computer operation for documentation, lesson planning, and communication tools.
Classroom experience demonstrating leadership qualities and the ability to manage a dynamic learning environment.
Childcare or teaching certification/license as required by local regulations is preferred but not mandatory for internship positions.

Pay: From $31.00 per hour
