Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Front Desk Clerk/Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the front desk during night shifts. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests.

Duties

Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about the hotel and local area.
Check guests in and out efficiently, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed accurately.
Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
Manage multi-line phone systems to answer calls promptly and direct them as needed.
Maintain accurate records of guest accounts, including billing information and payment processing.
Conduct nightly audits of financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
Provide concierge services by recommending local attractions, dining options, and activities.
Will be asked to clean certain areas of the hotel during slow periods.
Communicating directly to General Manager and Front Desk Managers.
Must be able to respond to emails professionally, understanding of Resersavation and keycard sytems.
Must be able to troubleshoot techinical issues and quick on your feet in various situations.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Proficiency in front desk operations within a hotel environment is preferred.
Experience with multi-line phone systems for effective communication.
Excellent phone etiquette to handle inquiries professionally.
Bilingual or multilingual capabilities are highly desirable to accommodate diverse guests.
Ability to work independently during night shifts while managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
