If you said "yes" to all of the above, then come join our team of passionate swim instructors at British Swim School!

Who we are

Since 1981, British Swim School has offered premium water-survival and learn-to-swim lessons, teaching everyone from 3-month-old babies to adults.

The position

As a Swim Instructor, you bring energy, an awesome attitude, and a love of children. We’ll train you in our innovative and proven methods. Prior experience working with children OR as a lifeguard/swim teacher is preferred.

Your schedule will be based around weekday evenings, and weekends. You must be a certified lifeguard and able to work at our Orleans location in Ottawa.

Responsibilities

Teach survival skills and swimming lessons using the British Swim School's unique methodology and curriculum
Follow our protocols to ensure the safety of all
Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their swimming skills
Show ownership of your classes by following closely your students' progression and updating their skills in the designated system
Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's development and any concerns.
