Nail Technician Job Description

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nail care and body waxing, coupled with excellent customer service skills. As a Nail Technician, you will provide high-quality nail services while ensuring a welcoming and sanitary environment for our clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements.
Execute body waxing services with precision and care.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing personalized recommendations.
Upsell retail products to enhance the client experience and promote salon offerings.
Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring each client feels valued and satisfied with their service.
Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role is preferred.
Strong knowledge of nail care techniques and body waxing procedures.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients.
Ability to upsell products while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining sanitation standards.
Previous experience in customer service or retail sales is an advantage.
Must hold a valid Nail Technician license as required by state regulations.
