Snapshot of the Position

At Colemans, we delight in providing our guests with the highest quality product. We are seeking a skilled individual with a passion for handling meats. The responsibilities of this position would involve the daily duties performed in the meat department.

What You’ll Do

Promoting the meat sales through customer interaction.
Making ground beef.
Working with raw as well as cooked meat.
Traying, wrapping, pricing and displaying of fresh and/or frozen meat and poultry products.
Weighing, labelling, and packaging a variety of products for customer.
Receiving, rotating, and storage of products.
Keeping refrigerated cases and display shelves properly stocked and faced at all times according to product movement and department standards.
Ensuring a clean and sanitary environment.
Learning safe food handling skills.
Use of hand wrapper and scale.
Performing other duties and assignments as directed by Store Management.

Rate of Pay

$16.35 – $17.69 per hour.

Hours of Work

20+ hours per week; days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
