Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Bindery Operator and Shipping to join our dynamic team in Richmond Hill. In this role, you will be responsible for executing precise binding and finishing processes, managing efficient shipping operations, and ensuring the highest quality standards across all print projects. Your proactive approach and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to delivering exceptional products to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where craftsmanship meets innovation.

Responsibilities

Operate binding equipment and perform finishing tasks such as trimming, folding, collating, and binding to meet project specifications
Booklet maker operation
Manage the packaging, labeling, and shipping of finished products (using couriers and computer portal for finding shipping), ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Conduct quality control inspections throughout the production process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times

Skills

Strong knowledge of print finishing techniques including hand bindery methods and quality control procedures
Be able to lift boxes up to 40lbs
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision in all aspects of production and shipping processes
