Full job description

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our clients and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial or commercial cleaning, demonstrating reliability and a strong work ethic. Prior experience in cleaning services is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within our organization. This position offers consistent hours and the opportunity to contribute to a professional setting where cleanliness and attention to detail are highly valued.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a high standard of cleanliness
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
Dispose of trash and maintain waste management protocols
Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines at all times
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of client spaces

Skills

Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, tools, and proper usage techniques
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift
Reliable work ethic with punctuality and professionalism at all times
