We are hiring - again! We are looking to hire delivery drivers; preferably with a minimum of 3 years driving experience; to join our Sydney, NS branch. Take pride in being part of the Colonial Group, a family owned and operated business, established almost 100 years ago, which has grown to become the largest privately owned aftermarket auto parts supplier in Atlantic Canada, with locations in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Newfoundland and Labrador. Roles and Responsibilities:

· Operate Company vehicle to deliver customer orders in a safe and courteous manner in and around the Sydney and Sydney Mines area.

· Load and unload deliveries.

· Provide an exceptional customer service to our clients.

· Performs all delivery duties using safe driving habits including defensive driving skills.

· Pick up returns at customer's place of business.

· The physical demands of the job include the ability to continuously stand or walk, the ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift frequently up to 50 pounds or more

· Represent the Company in a professional manner.

· Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements:

· Minimum High School Diploma education or equivalency.

· A valid driver’s Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract must be maintained and is a requirement.

· Minimum 3 years of driving experience.

· A Police Criminal Record Check acceptable to the company is a requirement.

· A three-month probationary period must be worked before full time permanent status applies.

· Commercial driving experience or previous delivery experience would be an asset.

Language: Fluent in English spoken and written.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

· 8-hour day shift
