Full job description

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Housekeeping supervisor to join our team. As a Supervisor you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of the housekeeping staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery and maintaining a clean and organized environment for our clients. If you have experience in residential cleaning and possess excellent communication and customer service skills, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

Supervise and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff, including cleaners and laundry staffs.
Assign duties and inspect work to maintain cleanliness standards and efficiency.
Ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to schedules.
Train new housekeeping employees on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and proper use of equipment.
Provide ongoing training and coaching to existing staff to improve performance and productivity.
Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities.
Place orders for supplies as needed and ensure proper storage and usage.
Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.
Address and resolve guest complaints and requests related to housekeeping services promptly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and procedures.
Implement and enforce proper cleaning and disinfection protocols, especially in sensitive areas like bathrooms and kitchens.
Prepare reports on departmental activities, such as room occupancy rates, cleaning schedules, and staff performance.
Maintain records of inventory, expenditures, and personnel matters.
Motivate and inspire team members to deliver exceptional service.
Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork among staff.

Requirements:

At least 1 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and equipment.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
Must be fluent in English, Mandarin is a plus.
