RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Research, conceptualize, design, and update digital artwork for the website and social.

· Assist in creating user flows, sitemaps, wireframes, and mock-ups based on project specifications, goals, and requirements.

· Design and update images, seasonal and promotional marketing, price points, digital ads, and anything else required.

· Help maintain consistency in design by contributing to the creation and upkeep of a design component library and style guide.

· Actively advocate for good user experience and design practices within the organization.

· Contribute to the revision and refinement of design deliverables to ensure optimal user experiences.

· Collaborate in the brainstorming for campaigns, taglines, and design concepts.

· Implement typography and color theory skills to all projects.

· Assist in the layout of presentations, mockups, and handouts.

· Edit and proofread to ensure accuracy and the highest standards for all creative.

· Identify opportunities for site improvement and UX.

· Manage the uploading digital files to the server.

· Any other duties as assigned by management as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Post-secondary education in Web Design or related field required.

· Minimum of 3 years of web design experience required.

· Graphic Design experience required.

· Expert knowledge of Abode software (including Illustrator, Photoshop, In Design, Acrobat), Shopify and Microsoft Office Suite are required.

· Knowledge of HTML/CSS is an asset.

· Solid knowledge of typography and colour theory.

· Effective organizational, problem-solving skill required with an ability to meet tight deadlines with an attention to details.

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Ability to successfully multi-task.

· Fashion industry experience preferred.
