You've spent years proving you can sell. Meanwhile, the industry keeps dressing the job up in softer titles — account executive, client partner, growth consultant — as if "sales" were a word to apologize for. We're not apologizing for it. This is a sales job. We think that's worth being proud of, and we're looking for the person who agrees.

Who We Are

Colossus is a brand-agnostic physical security integration firm headquartered in Mississauga, serving enterprise clients across Canada and internationally. We deliver security, fire, and electrical solutions anchored by a four-hour on-site response guarantee — a standard almost no one else in this industry will put in writing. Our clients don't buy systems from us. They retain us. We operate as advisors, not vendors, and when an organization needs to protect its people, property, and operations without compromise, we are the firm they call.

Security is not a discretionary purchase. Crime doesn't pause for a recession, threats don't wait for budget season, and the organizations we serve can't afford downtime. That is the market you'll be selling into — one where demand never dips and your work genuinely matters.

The Role

This is outside sales. Net new business. That's the whole job, and it's a big one.

You'll hunt, open, and close new enterprise accounts across the GTA. You're not boxed into a single vertical — you go where the worthwhile business is. Retail chains, manufacturers, property portfolios, logistics, institutions: if the organization has the scale to need enterprise-grade security, it's in bounds.

You'll start with a set of named accounts we've already identified as worth pursuing. The best reps treat that list as a launchpad — they work it hard, close off it, and keep building past it, because the most satisfying business is always the business you found yourself.

You'll work in genuine partnership with our Sales Development Representative, who'll help you map target organizations and uncover the right decision-makers inside them. That partnership makes you faster — real teamwork on the hardest part of enterprise prospecting. The pipeline, the meetings, and the revenue are still yours, and so is the credit when they land.

One standard worth knowing up front: we sell enterprise-level solutions to organizations with the scale to need them. A two-camera install at a corner shop doesn't move the needle for the client or for you. Big organizations, real budgets, deals worth your talent.

What You'll Do

Build and own a pipeline of net-new enterprise opportunities from first outreach to signed contract
Prospect independently every week — named accounts are a head start, never a substitute for hunting
Partner with our SDR to map accounts and reach the real decision-makers
Lead discovery, design solutions with support from our techs and managers, write proposals, negotiate, and close
Represent Colossus at industry events, trade shows, and client sites as the face of the firm
Carry a real quota with real rewards attached

The Money

Base salary plus uncapped commission.

Here's the honest math most postings won't print. Every salesperson has met the rep who negotiated the biggest base he could find, spent two years "building relationships," produced a funnel you could read at a glance, and had a great explanation for all of it. He costs his company more than he'll ever return — and he's the reason genuine closers get their commissions squeezed, because somebody has to fund him. This plan wasn't built for him. He stopped reading three paragraphs ago.

This plan was built for the closer who wants income tied to output because they back their output. The base keeps the lights on while you build. The commission is where the living is — uncapped, and weighted toward performance on purpose. Hit the plan and you'll out-earn every salary-safe rep you know. Beat it, and there's no ceiling to negotiate with.

And read the posted range correctly: the top of it is on-target earnings, not a limit. The plan is uncapped by design, and the rep this seat was built for doesn't park at OTE. Doubling it isn't a dream scenario. It's arithmetic.

Who You Are

A proven B2B closer. Sales experience is non-negotiable. You've opened and closed complex deals involving multiple decision-makers, and you can walk us through them in specifics — how you sourced them, how you ran them, what they were worth.
Security industry experience is NOT required. We'll teach you the industry — the technology, the market, the players. What we can't teach is the thing you already have: the ability to sell.
Motivated by commission, not by base. You want your income tied to your output because you've never once needed an excuse.
Self-accountable. You don't explain how hard you tried. You show what you closed — and you like it that way.
A genuine relationship builder at the executive level — someone who turns first meetings into trusted-advisor status, because that's how this firm sells.
Ready for a market where your existing sales skill transfers directly and your ceiling disappears.

Location

Mississauga head office and client sites across the GTA. Full-time, in person. There's no remote option because there's no remote version of this job — deals in this business are won in boardrooms and on sites, face to face, the way the best sellers have always won them. The people who belong in this seat wouldn't want it any other way.
