Oakville Wellness is a new and growing psychotherapy clinic in Oakville, Ontario, offering in-person and online mental health care in a warm and welcoming environment.

We are currently seeking experienced registered counselling professionals to join our in-person clinical team as Independent Contractors.

This role is ideal for mature clinicians who value autonomy, professionalism, thoughtful clinical work, and sustainable private practice growth within a well-organized and supportive setting.

About Oakville Wellness

We are building a practice centred around high-quality clinical care, professionalism, and respect for both clients and clinicians.

This position is best suited to clinicians who are comfortable working independently, managing their practice responsibly, and contributing to a stable and professional environment over time.

As a growing clinic, we are especially interested in clinicians who are reliable, self-directed, communicative, and invested in providing excellent care.

We welcome clinicians from diverse backgrounds, identities, lived experiences, and therapeutic approaches.

Position Details

Independent Contractor role
In-person role based in Oakville, Ontario
Minimum commitment of 15 in-person clinical hours per week
Evening and/or weekend availability preferred
Opportunity for hybrid in-person/virtual work
Administrative and operational support provided
Marketing and referral support provided
Flexible scheduling within clinic availability
Beautiful fully furnished office space
Secure electronic records platform

Qualifications

Applicants must:

Hold a Master’s degree or equivalent clinical training
Be registered and in good standing with their Ontario regulatory college
Hold Independent Practice status where applicable
Carry professional liability insurance
Maintain strong documentation and professional standards

Other registered professionals authorized to provide psychotherapy in Ontario

Please note:
At this time, we are primarily hiring fully registered clinicians rather than qualifying registrants (RPQ). However, we welcome interest from RPQs who anticipate full registration in the near future.
