Employer: Oakville Wyecroft Hotel LP (o/a Holiday Inn & Suites Oakville @ Bronte)

Location: Oakville, Ontario – Onsite

Employment Type: Part-Time / Casual

Schedule: Days / Evenings / Weekends / Shifts

Job Summary

The Holiday Inn Oakville @ Bronte is seeking an experienced and guest-focused Banquet Event Server to join our team in a part-time capacity. This role offers a flexible schedule, with shifts based on business levels, including mornings, days, evenings, and weekends.

The Banquet Event Server plays a key role in the execution of meetings and events, ensuring service is delivered in line with brand standards and client expectations. This position requires strong attention to detail, professionalism, and a proactive approach to guest service.

Key Responsibilities

Execute banquet and meeting service in accordance with Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and hotel standards
Set up, service, and break down meeting and event spaces as required
Maintain food and beverage service levels throughout events, ensuring items such as coffee, water, and refreshments are consistently replenished
Act as a professional point of contact for meeting hosts and guests during events
Support event flow and respond promptly to guest needs and requests
Ensure cleanliness, organization, and presentation of all banquet areas

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of experience in hotel banquet or event service execution
Strong understanding of banquet service standards and BEO interpretation
Professional, polished, and guest-focused approach aligned with IHG service culture
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and ability to anticipate guest needs
Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, and weekends

Compensation

Expected Wage: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour
