Founded in 2019, Rx Connect Specialty Pharmacy is a proud Canadian company, comprised of healthcare professionals with extensive specialty medication experience with a location in Mississauga, Ontario and another in Calgary, Alberta. We are a distinctive healthcare company, with patient relationship skills that set us apart. We specialize in providing medications for patients with chronic and complex medical conditions, such as HIV, rheumatoid arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and more. Our team consists of experienced pharmacists, technicians, and support staff who are dedicated to providing compassionate and comprehensive care to our patients.

About the Position:

Working under the supervision of the Manager, Human Resources, the Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for sourcing, recruiting and hiring top talent for our organization. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and engaging candidates, as well as a strong understanding of recruitment strategies and best practices.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates
Utilize various sourcing techniques (e.g. social media, job boards, networking, career fairs, etc.) to identify potential candidates
Review resume and applications to screen candidates for open positions
Conduct phone and video interviews to assess candidates’ qualifications and fit.
Coordinate and facilitate interview process with hiring managers and teams
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates for future job openings
Partner with hiring mangers to understand staffing needs and requirements for each department
Promote employer brand to attract and retain top talent
Develop compelling job posting and marketing materials to showcase our organization
Extend job offers to select candidates and negotiate employment terms
Coordinate the onboarding process to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
Conduct reference and background checks as required for potential hires.
Prepare, analyze and maintain various HR reports, measures and statics (i.e. vacancy reports, attrition reports, etc.)
Collaborate in the development and implementation of corporate policies
Participate and lead bi-monthly health and safety meetings
Complete ad-hoc tasks and projects to contribute to the Human Resources Department.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will also be assigned other duties as required from time to time.

Job Requirements:

College diploma or higher in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruiting, or HR roles
Previous experience with healthcare recruitment is an asset
Proven track record of successfully recruiting for various positions and industries
Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software’s
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
High level of professionalism and confidentiality
Strategic thinker with a proactive and results-driven approach.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
