Reporting to the Drill and Blast Supervisor, you will be a part of the Mine Operations Department. You will be responsible to perform all blast duties under the supervision of the lead blasters at our Detour Lake Mine Site. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Ensure that all regulations both federally (TDG, Explosives Act, Bulk Regulations, WHIMIS) and provincially (Blasting Safety and OH&S Regulations) are adhered to within the operation in regards to personnel, product storage, and product transportation;
Compensation Statement
In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
