At Green Market Cannabis, we are looking for a budtender that also acts as a cannabis specialist, educator & brand ambassador to help us on our mission to provide the best service and products in Toronto!

We're a small locally owned business and each and every one of our Budtenders makes a difference. Join the Green Market Cannabis family and work with amazing like-minded people.

This position requires somebody who can provide extraordinary customer service and be the go-to expert on cannabis products for our customers. This includes sales, managing inventory, keeping the store clean and beautiful, helping each customer find the right product for their personal preference and assisting with outreach efforts. We're seeking passionate Budtenders that love to learn, the industry never stops growing.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and manage any concerns
Provide education on cannabis products and related topics to help customers find the best products to suit their needs
Inventory management and back-of-house support
Opening, Closing and completing all end of day reports and procedures
Ensure store is clean and tidy and meets the most stringent sanitary requirements
Experience and Background
Must be at least 19 years of age
Cannsell certified, background check required
Previous retail, inventory management, sales, or customer service experience
Cannabis experience preferred
Cannabis cultivation experience preferred
Excellent communication skills
Excellent work ethic
Team Player
Knowledge of/ability to learn about cannabis products
Positive attitude, high energy, and enthusiastic
Spanish or bilingual speaking is an asset
Live in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area)

10 hour shift
12 hour shift
8 hour shift
Weekend availability

Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Sales experience: 1 year minimum

License/Certification:

Cannsell (preferred) or willing to obtain license
AGCO Manager license (preferred)
Parking/TTC Accessible

Work Remotely

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 – 40.0 per week
