Estimator / Outside Sales Representative

Precision Roofing & Siding Inc. is growing and we’re looking for a motivated Estimator / Outside Sales Representative to help expand our presence in the Ottawa and surrounding markets.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both the technical side of estimating and the relationship-building side of sales.
You’ll work with contractors, installers, architects, engineers and general contractors to quote projects, develop new business, and help drive material sales growth through relationship-building, networking, and digital outreach tools such as LinkedIn and other sales platforms.
THIS IS A HYBRID ROLE INVOLVING:
- Estimating and quote preparation (work from home or office)
- Site visits and customer meetings
- Business development and relationship management on the road
- Project follow-up and sales support.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Prepare material take-offs and estimates for commercial and residential projects
- Follow up on quotes and help close opportunities
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, installers, architects and GCs
- Visit architects and meet clients throughout the Ottawa region
- Identify and develop new business opportunities
- Utilize CRM and sales management systems to track opportunities, customer relationships, and project activity
- Use LinkedIn and other networking channels to develop new contractor, architect, and GC relationships
- Maintain an active pipeline through prospecting, follow-up, and relationship management
- Coordinate internally to ensure smooth project execution
- Help grow PRS Inc.’s contractor network and market presence
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Experience in construction estimating, construction sales, building materials, or a related industry
- Strong communication and relationship-building skillsOrganized and self-motivatedComfortable working independently and managing multiple projects
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Use nesting software for quantity calculation
- Experience using CRM and sales management systems (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
- Strong networking and lead generation skills using LinkedIn and industry associations
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and estimating software
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally
- Preferred backgrounds may include: Construction supply, commercial construction, architectural products, building materials sales, estimating/project coordination
COMPENSATION
- Base salary starting around $60,000 + Uncapped commission structure
- Performance-based earning potential
- Hybrid work environment
- KM reimbursement during the initial 6 month contract, followed by a company car provided at contract renewal.

Pay: $60,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
