The Position
We are looking for a full-time licensed Commercial Pest Control Technician to service a recurring portfolio of premium commercial properties throughout Toronto and the GTA. Our commercial clients include restaurants, cafes, retail locations, offices, dealerships, property management sites, warehouses and other commercial facilities.
This is a field-based position for someone who is comfortable working independently, managing a daily route and communicating directly with clients. We are looking for a technician who understands that great pest control is not just about applying a product. Inspection, prevention, communication, documentation and attention to detail are equally important.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled commercial pest control services throughout Toronto and the GTA.
- Inspect properties for pest activity, entry points and conducive conditions.
- Identify and treat rodents, cockroaches, ants, flies and other common commercial pests.
- Service and maintain exterior and interior rodent stations, traps and monitoring devices. Perform interior and exterior treatments as required and follow Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices.
- Identify sanitation, structural and environmental conditions contributing to pest activity.
- Recommend corrective actions and potential exclusion work.
- Complete detailed digital service reports after each visit, including pest activity, treatments, products used and recommendations.
- Upload required notes, photographs and service information.
- Communicate professionally with business owners, restaurant managers, property managers and other client representatives.
- Respond to callbacks and urgent service requests when assigned.
- Manage an assigned daily route efficiently and maintain an organized, properly stocked service vehicle.
- Follow all pesticide label, PPE, transportation, storage and regulatory requirements.
- Escalate significant infestations or unusual pest conditions to management.
Licensing & Qualifications
- Valid Ontario exterminator licence - Structural licence is sufficient.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Legally authorized to work in Canada.
- Comfortable travelling throughout Toronto and the GTA.
- Comfortable using smartphones, CRM systems and digital scheduling applications.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Reliable, punctual and capable of working independently.

Preferred:
- 1+ year of pest control experience.
- Previous commercial pest control experience.
- Restaurant or food-service pest control experience.
- Experience managing an independent service route.
- Strong understanding of rodent and cockroach control.
Technology & CRM Experience
True North operates with digital scheduling, reporting and customer-management systems. Candidates should be comfortable learning and working with technology throughout the day. Experience with platforms such as Jobber, GorillaDesk, GoHighLevel (GHL) or similar CRM, dispatch and field-service applications is strongly preferred.
- Receiving and managing jobs digitally.
- Following scheduled routes and updating job status in real time.
- Entering service notes, uploading photos and completing digital reports.
- Reviewing customer history and communicating with dispatch and management through mobile applications.

Pay: $52,000.00-$82,000.00 per year
