TDG is seeking a NetSuite Financial Administrator for our East Garafraxa head office.
The successful candidate will have a strong financial leadership background, ideally having served as a Controller, Director of Finance, or CFO, with extensive hands-on experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, month-end close, financial reporting, and internal controls. They will be responsible for optimizing NetSuite financial processes, supporting users, managing system configurations, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring the integrity of financial data across the organization.
This position acts as the primary liaison between Finance, Operations, IT, and external NetSuite partners to ensure the ERP system effectively supports the company’s financial and operational objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on NetSuite ERP experience with hands-on knowledge of NetSuite Financials, inventory management, purchasing, order management, and warehouse operations.
- Strong understanding of business processes in a distribution, wholesale, or supply chain environment.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects, vendors, and competing business priorities.
- Advanced knowledge of NetSuite Financials.
- Proven expertise in: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Financial Reporting, Month-End Close, Internal Controls, Audit Support
- Experience within wholesale distribution, tire distribution, automotive, logistics, or inventory-intensive environments strongly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
- Experience supporting SOX-style controls, audits, and financial compliance requirements.
- Knowledge of demand planning, landed cost, pricing structures, and branch/warehouse replenishment in a distribution setting.
- Experience supporting inventory and distribution-based business processes is highly desirable.
Job Duties:
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for NetSuite financial modules.
- Manage system configuration, workflows, saved searches, dashboards, custom records, roles, permissions, and financial reporting tools.
- Support and troubleshoot issues related to:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- General Ledger
- Fixed Assets
- Banking and Cash Management
- Financial Reporting
- Multi-entity and intercompany transactions (if applicable)
- Coordinate NetSuite upgrades, testing, releases, and enhancements.
- Partner with external consultants and NetSuite support resources when required.
- Maintain system documentation, process maps, and training materials.
- Ensure NetSuite accurately supports all core accounting processes and internal controls.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline financial workflows and increase automation.
- Review and optimize financial transaction flows between NetSuite and integrated systems.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Assist with financial audits by providing system expertise and supporting documentation.
- Maintain data integrity and governance standards across financial records.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial reports, KPIs, dashboards, and saved searches.
- Support management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis requirements.
- Partner with Finance leadership to improve reporting accuracy, efficiency, and visibility.
- Analyze financial data and recommend process improvements based on business insights.
- Provide day-to-day support for finance and accounting users.
- Lead user training initiatives and develop best practices for NetSuite utilization.
- Act as the primary point of contact for financial system inquiries and issue resolution.
- Facilitate adoption of new functionality and process improvements across departments.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT teams to identify system enhancement opportunities.
- Evaluate new NetSuite modules, functionality, and third-party integrations.
- Participate in strategic ERP projects, implementations, and business transformation initiatives.
- Support future scalability of financial processes as the business grows.
