Join Our Team as a Baker at Poppies bagel company!

About Us:

Poppies bagel company is a vibrant bakery dedicated to serving our community with the freshest, most delicious bagels and coffees. We pride ourselves on using high-quality ingredients and traditional baking techniques to create products that our customers love. As we prepare to roll into the busy summer and fall, we are looking for a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team.

Position: Baker

Responsibilities:

Prepare and bake a variety of bagels and other baked goods according to our recipes and quality standards.
Mix, knead, shape, and bake dough with precision and consistency.
Monitor oven temperatures, baking times, and product appearance to ensure high-quality results.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies, and place orders as needed.
Collaborate with the Head Baker and other team members to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Short order sandwich production

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Baker, preferably with a focus on bagels or similar baked goods.
Strong understanding of baking techniques and ingredients.
Ability to work early morning shifts to prepare fresh products for the day.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Team player with good communication skills.
