Full job description

Job Summary
Mission Property Services, a Fredericton based commercial real estate business is seeking an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Manager to oversee a wide range of administrative, accounting and reporting functions. This role is vital in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining efficient administrative processes, and supporting overall business operations.

Duties

Maintain accurate general ledger records and post journal entries.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
Prepare and process payroll, government remittances, and related filings.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts.
Reconciliation and maintenance of inter-company accounts.
Monitor and manage cash flow requirements.
Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
Preparation of monthly financial statements, year-end filings, and annual budgets.
Preparation of annual cost recovery calculations and billing to tenants.
General office responsibilities and special projects as needed

Candidates interested in this position should have completed a Community College or university program and have 3 -5 years of relevant experience. The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines is essential. Experience in the real estate industry is a plus.

Skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.
Familiarity with Yardi Breeze Property Management Software would be an asset..
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
