Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and freshness of linens, towels, and guest clothing, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and previous experience in hotel laundry or cleaning services. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your efforts directly contribute to the comfort and experience of our guests.

Duties

Operate commercial laundry machines efficiently to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and guest clothing
Sort laundry items according to type and cleaning requirements
Ensure all laundry is cleaned to hotel standards and properly stored or delivered to designated areas
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area and equipment
Follow safety procedures when handling chemicals and operating machinery
Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or shortages
Support other housekeeping staff as needed to ensure overall cleanliness of the facility

Experience

Prior experience in hotel laundry or general cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Knowledge of laundry procedures, including sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens or clothing
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry operations
Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a team environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy

Pay: $18.00-$18.20 per hour
