Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Worker to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work in planting, maintaining, and harvesting crops, as well as operating various farm machinery and tools. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farming operations. This position offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience and farm maintenance within a dynamic agricultural environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, harvesting and packing crops using appropriate tools and equipment
Operate farm machinery such as tractors and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently
Perform routine maintenance on irrigation systems and farm equipment to ensure optimal operation
Use hand tools and power tools for repairs, adjustments, and general farm tasks
Conduct basic math calculations for measurements, quantities, and record keeping
Engage in heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested produce as needed
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency
Follow safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and farm procedures

Skills

Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintaining farm machinery and equipment
Experience with irrigation systems and horticultural practices
Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance techniques
Strong understanding of horticulture principles and crop management
Physical strength for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of manual labor
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and record keeping
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with attention to safety standards

This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in agriculture while contributing to the successful operation of our farm. Prior experience with farm machinery or horticulture is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
