Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Business Development & Sales Executive to drive high-ticket sales growth for our drywall and interior systems company. In this role, you'll identify and close new commercial and residential project opportunities, build strong relationships with general contractors, developers, and property managers, and help expand our market presence. We're looking for someone who has already proven themselves in high-ticket or construction-related sales and can bring existing industry knowledge, relationships, and a results-driven approach to our team from day one.

Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the drywall, interior systems, and construction industry through market research, networking, and direct outreach.
Build and maintain strong relationships with general contractors, developers, architects, and property managers to generate consistent, high-value project leads.
Lead negotiations on high-ticket contracts and bids, securing deals that align with company goals and profitability targets.
Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and bidding to closing and handoff to project teams.
Collaborate with estimating, project management, and marketing teams to develop competitive proposals and targeted campaigns that generate qualified leads.
Manage and maintain an organized sales pipeline using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to track opportunities and optimize outreach strategy.
Coordinate with project teams during execution to ensure client satisfaction, repeat business, and referrals.
Prepare and deliver detailed bids, proposals, and presentations that clearly communicate our value and capabilities to prospective clients.

Qualifications

Proven experience in high-ticket sales or business development within drywall, interior systems, construction, or a closely related industry — required.
Established network of industry contacts (GCs, developers, property managers) is a strong plus.
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets on large-scale deals.
Strong negotiation skills with the confidence to influence decision-makers and close high-value contracts.
Solid understanding of construction bidding processes, project timelines, and interior systems scope of work.
Excellent project management skills to juggle multiple active deals and client relationships simultaneously.
Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) for pipeline management and reporting.
Strong communication and presentation skills, both with clients and internal teams.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to hit the ground running with minimal ramp-up time.
