Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Office Secretary to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office, particularly within a medical setting. This position requires strong administrative skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. The Office Secretary will be responsible for maintaining medical records, managing front desk operations, and providing excellent customer service to patients. Being bilingual is Preferable.

Duties

Manage front desk operations including greeting patients and answering phone calls.
Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for the office.
Handle patient check-ins and check-outs, ensuring accurate electronic medical records are maintained.
Assist with billing processes and insurance verification as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and office supplies.
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their appointments and any necessary documentation.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient care.

Requirements

Proficiency in medical terminology is preferred; experience in a medical office is a plus.
Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in an administrative role within a medical office is highly desirable.
Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Epic, is advantageous.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing patient information and scheduling tasks.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
